I am Dr. Mahmood Balogun, a medical doctor (MBBS) with clinical experience in psychiatry and emergency medicine, currently completing an MSc in Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. My clinical background includes conducting psychiatric interviews and mental-status examinations, and supporting patients through mood disorders, anxiety, depression, stress.
Alongside my clinical work, I've spent time as a volunteer listener on a mental health support line, offering a compassionate ear to people navigating difficult moments, an experience that shaped how I approach every session: with patience, active listening, and without judgment. I also bring an active research background in psychiatry, with several published studies on treatments for depression, PTSD, and psychosis, which keeps my practice grounded in current evidence.
I believe good mental health support starts with feeling truly heard. Whether you're working through anxiety, low mood, or just need a steady, confidential space to talk things through, I'm here to listen and work alongside you toward what helps.
